POLK CITY, Fla. -- The U.S. Under 21 Water Ski Team earned the silver medal and three U.S. water ski athletes won individual gold medals at the third Under 21 Water Ski World Championships, which concluded Sunday in San Bernardo, Chile. France won the overall team gold medal, tallying 7,988.52 points. The United States earned the silver medal with 7,403.60 points and Canada clinched the bronze medal with 7,123.54 points.
“The dedication and talent of the U.S. Team led to impressive results,” said Steve Locke, USA Water Ski’s executive director. “Congratulations to all the athletes who competed in this year’s event.”
The U.S. Under 21 Water Ski Team consisted of Caroline Hensley (Hixson, Tenn.), Adam Pickos (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.), Storm Selsor (Fremont, Calif.) and Zack Worden (Deltona, Fla.).
